Another can i run it topic

#1JaXoN1321Posted 12/2/2010 10:27:16 PM
Sorry, board seems a little slow and i figure a new topic is more likely to be seen amongst the rest.
So my specs are:
Vista home premium,
4GB RAM Direct X 10.
Processor says Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz (4 CPU's), ~2.3 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT.

Anything i missed? (converting from console) ...
So can i run this (and Empire Total War) without a hitch?
Graphics need not be on highest, but smoothness is a must.
Thank you kindly.

Welcome, keep your current card, get the GTX 460 and then i would set up your 9600 for a dedivcated PhysX card, keeping all the stress of your CPU, and GPU during gaming.

But also know i can max crysis with my single GTX 460 you may not you will be dang close though.. you will love the performance for the money of that card. the 1gb version is not worth and extra 5 frames for 50$

My specs:

OS: Windows7 home prem. 64bit

Memory: 8 gigs of ddr2@1066(was 4 gigs of ddr2@800 when i did my first benchmark on crysis, my gtx maxed it then the extra 4 gigs doesn't make that much of a difference.)

GPU: EVGA Gtx460 768mb SuperClocked

CPU: Intel Core to Quad Q9650@3.0ghz(Stock Clock)

Dedicated Physx card: Evga 9800gtx+512mb
