When I hit the shadow before it hits me. Am I doing something wrong? --- http://lbp.me/v/w4sjj2 Dissidia 012 Mains: Onion Knight, Lightning, Squall

1. Hit the shadow before it notices you: player advantage
2. Hit the shadow after it notices you: compare your agi to the enemy's and determine advantage from there. The higher the difficulty, the higher the chance of enemy advantage.
3. Be hit by the enemy: enemy advantage
Sneak from behind the enemy and hit it before it notices you to avoid enemy advantage on higher difficulties. --- "She ascended the ranks of the Noxian military, but somehow missed all of the Cassiopeas, Swains, Katarinas and Urgots." - Super Explosion, Riven Lore

maybe your not using your weapon? I know when you hit an enemy even after they noticed you there's no advantage on both side. Or maybe your fighting the gold enemy. --- The only thing that's 100% is the Universe

maybe he's hitting you when you are mid-swing. Try reacting faster? --- Official Lopunny of the Black 2 Board

It's probably your reaction time. The time to realize the enemy has noticed you and is charging takes is very little, so your attack is to slow to prevent the enemy advantage. Think of it like the blinking light arcade games for prizes. To remedy this estimate the appropriate distance it would take you to get close to the enemy and react, striking with the furthest distance possible to start the battle. --- My life is meaningless, I live only as a blade for others...........
