The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

Will I have to order this game from the UK again to avoid censorship?

I remember having to order the first Witcher from a UK based website because the original NA release was censored, mostly just the sex I think but I believe some fatalities too. Have they commented on if the Witcher 2 will be subject to the same NA censorship yet?

Yes, you'll have to buy in UK or elsewhere. In The Witcher 2 there will be no sex cards - instead there will be much more spicy cutscenes...

Yea, but GTA had male genitals and Red Dead had a breasts and a sex. Those two scenes alone I'd say were more provacative then nude playing cards which at best featured breasts.

They've said that they don't think they'll have to censor anything, with emphasis being put on how different the sex stuff will be this time around. So hopefully the US version will remain untouched but even if it doesn't, there will likely be a way to mod back in the original content like there was in TW1.

Of course, you're right, but the censors know better. I think it's a violation of human rights. freedom of speech etc.

Wouldn't there be some sort of adult patch instead of having to pay more? Unless you buy it from an online download uk? But wouldn't there also be mods if a patch isn't out yet made by fans?

That being said and true, I still will not support a US vendor who supports this moral blackmail by censorship zealots. If those people worried about poverty and hatred as much as they worried about genitalia, then the world would be a paradise.
