What happened with the patch that explained the magic system?

The patch that was released, was supposed to contain a fully detailed, in depth tutorial on everything about it, how to use it, what things do, everything. However after installing the patch, I found out that there is absolutely nothing about the magic system at all. Never mind how it works.

The magic system in this is such a confusing cluster screw, that it's next to impossible to understand. The magic system in this is absolutely useless in it's current form, what's the point to having a non-explained and so over whelming and complex system.

I don't care how easy anyone thinks this is to understand, how many people think so, or what people think about me. The point is that I don't understand it, and I need it explained.

What are you talking about?

Have you ever read your manual? You know, paper thing in the box? Have you played the tutorial, which was added in ver 2.0? What about reading your journal (tutorial tab)?

[sigh]

Yes I'm talking about the tutorial but there is supposed to be an entire explanation on the magic system as well. And no I didn't play the tutorial because it's either not in the game or it's been placed it's not supposed to be.

Let me explain where a tutorial is supposed to be along with it's purpose.

A tutorial is supposed to be placed so it's accessible from the main menu of the game in the same place it says start new game or continue, and the whole purpose of a tutorial is to have you go through the games mechanics so you can learn them to use in the game, before even entering the game. Which is why it's supposed to be accessible from the games main menu after getting to the option screen in the title menu.

IF they put it in the same type of place they did in all the MASS EFFECT games then it renders the tutorial 100% useless because it defeats the purpose.

In all the ME games, the tutorial was placed onto a computer that is on the ship that you cannot gain access to until you pay the game. The problem with this is a player is supposed to be given the tutorial on how to play BEFORE ACTUALLY PLAYING.

Why would a developer put a tutorial in a place where by the time you get to it, you do not need it.

And assuming since the tutorial is nowhere to be found in any of the menus from the title screen, then that means it's been placed in the game somewhere that renders it useless.

And no the paper manual does nto explain anything about how to set up, use, or explain anything about What I MYSELF NEED TO KNOW.

If you pick "new game", the game will ask if you want to play tutorial... Is that easy enough? As I said before - magic system is described in journal, tutorial tab.

I've done that before...When does it actually decide to give you the tutorial, 2 hours into the game?

No, right at the start. You hit new game and it asks you if you want to play the tutorial right there. Hit yes and you start the tutorial. Right there.

Yep. It really can't be simpler than this. Your game must be bugged in which case you should be happy because there is a one in a million chance of the tutorial not appearing. Or just plain stupid.

Then my game is bugged, because I select new game, and the game just starts right up. No tutorial no question about a tutorial I go right into the cinema cut.
