Using a defensive card that stays in the hand (Battle Fader) in a deck based around constantly discarding your hand for a new one sounds like a pretty bad idea. Use Waboku or something if you want defense.
Don't use defense. Use any cards that speed up the deck's drawing and cycling. The longer the game goes on, the more chances your opponent will draw a out to the Jar Loop. Strive to FTK or 2TK. Any later and you probably have lost.
