thanksgiving doesn't have a set date either. i think April Fool's day is just more widely celebrated. easter isn't that widely celebrated without any religious aspects. the august holiday isn't widely celebrated (never even heard of it before this game) but there's no other big holiday in august.

I have to contend with April Fool's being more widely celebrated than Easter.

i said that without any of the religious aspects attached to it, easter isn't that widely celebrated. without anything religious attached to it, easter is just another day. but with the religious aspects attached to it, then yes, easter destroys april fool's day without contest.

or maybe rocksteady just didn't want to have calendar man talk about killing bunnies, or killing in a bunny suit, or killing guys in bunny suits, or exploding easter eggs, etc.

Because the world doesn't appreciate Jesus like they should.

No point in appreciating someone that didn't exist.

Fourth Thursday is still easier to set with the Xbox calendar than first Sunday after Paschal Full Moon.

And even ignoring that you could set it to track Easter if you wanted, there is the issue of Easter sometimes happening in March.

This sounds the most likely answer. I haven't heard any of Calender Man's speeches, but April Fool's sounds easier to write for.

It's not that Easter doesn't have a set DATE - it's that it doesn't have a set MONTH! Some years it's in late March. Then they'd have to code it to ignore St. Patrick's Day those years and pick up an April holiday instead....too complex to bother with.

Can you prove that guy did exist?

I really don't want to get into a big thing here, but believing in Jesus is a leap of faith that some people simply aren't willing to take. Other than a 'storybook' called the bible, what proof is there that this person ever existed?

So if you believe in Jesus, do you believe in Mohammed as well? What about Unicorns? They're in books too, so they must be real, right?

I'll continue to believe in facts and things that have evidence rather than be told hold how to live my life by a work of fiction. If you need that to give you a sense of morality, and to dictate to you how to live your life then good for you.
