Captain America: Super Soldier used a system that most people regard as a copy of Asylum's.

Assassins creed 3 tried to mimic asylum's style. Its got its differences but it's relatively similar.

Yeah but you shouldn't buy that one. I sold it immediately after I finished it.

Batman games are infinitely better imo. The smoothness of the movements is lacking in The amazing Spiderman so all combat feels choppy and rushed.

Originally, Batman Arkham Asylum was supposed to be an 'interactive movie' style game where you fight by pressing the buttons in a rhythm (like some Rock Band game) to attack and counter.

They kinda scrapped the interactive movie idea but the combat somewhat carried over but is more manual and less like some QTE.

There is no such thing as a "Quick Time Event done right".
A game that has Quick Time Events is a "video game done wrong".

Sleeping Dogs and the Assassin's Creed games come to mind.

Mimic asylum's style? What?

I think AC3 tried to "copy" its previous games styles.. Which dates back to the first one being in 2007.. Didn't Asylum come out in 2009?

Hmm...
