It's a bad movie in my honest opinion. They should've called it Jim Gordon: Year One.
idk, I wouldn't says its a bad movie; to me it's a good movie with bad parts to it
The fact that its more about Gordon than Batman is deliberate, and is what makes it such a great story. We all know Batman's story and origin already, there's no reason to retell it. That's why Frank Miller pulled a sneaky bastard move and made it all about Gordon. And that's why we (read: most hardcore comic fans) love it. You still get tons of Batman, and those scenes are great too. The whole "I could never see without my glasses anyway" bit pretty much confirms that Gordon has known since Year One that Bruce is Batman but just kept it secret.
... and Zeus screwed anything that moved. Or didn't move. His powers know no bounds.- Dahk1
