According to Paul's own tweets, while he would like to return for the next Arkham game, he will not be. It's 'not his call'

I must admit, I'm not going to write the game off before I try it, but I'm growing less and less enthused with the direction they're heading for Arkham 3.

Do we yet have any confirmation that the Justice League game is actually Arkham 3? Or are people still just assuming that?

Variety reported that it was a prequel to the Arkham series, but it may have been a mistake on their part and this is an unrelated game instead. At least that's what I hope the case is.

Most likely it was a mistake. I think they just assumed Rocksteady would be working on an Arkham game since it involves Batman. Pretty sure this is a whole new thing, the original writer not being involved makes me pretty positive about it.

But hey, I could be wrong. Just goin with my gut and it's usually correct.

According to his blog( http://kingofbreakfast.livejournal.com/ ), he wasn't even involved with the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC. No wonder it sucked. I hope that's not the level of quality that we can expect for the next game.

Paul's twitter refer to it as the 'next game'.

As in 'next game in the series'.

No, we don't have 100% confirmation it will be in the Arkham universe.

But it certainly looks that way.

After the ridiculously stupid mess that was Arkham City's dual storylines (particularly the Joker disease half), I'm honestly not sorry at all to see him go.

He did a great job with Asylum but I really didn't like much of the story in City.
