/ Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands Uncut Patch v1.1* /

* Due to multifunctional usage of textures, I had to make most water bloody
* Added bloody overlay when using water powers
* Replaces sand textures with blood
* Removes the flashing sparks when hitting an enemy
* Makes the glinting of enemy swords more subtle

After Ubisoft didn't show us some blood and gore since Warrior Within again, this mod gives you the whole deal in terms of blood and violence and maybe some flashbacks to POP:WW. Most enemies bleed red now, even the skeletons!

Make sure to select the "Prince of Persia.exe" in your install directory.
For detailed instructions how to use TexMod, check the included text file.

Hav phun!

I haven't use this yet, but do you have to use it every time you want to play, or just once?

Reason I ask is because it starts the game when you browse to the executable.

Can someone pls help me.

I cant get this to work.

I run the Texmod.exe and select the PrinceofPersia.exe from the install dir.

Then I select the .tpf file and hit "Run"

The game starts and I press Continue but no blood appears ingame.

What should I do? Start a new game?

TexMod replaces DirectDraw textures which have a unique MD5 hash. Unfortunately some VGA cards have different hash's than others meaning the mod won't work. What's your VGA card model

Does it have to be run every time you play, or only once?

Yes unfortunately it has to be. TexMod doesn't replace any files if your PoP folder but rather the ones already loaded into the memory so the game has to be run though Texmod every time.
