For the PS3 version, do you move using the d-pad or the left analog stick?

Left stick. D-pad is used for weapon-switching.

Is there a way to change it where you move using the d-pad? Its going to be kind of hard to play the PS3 version because in order to boost you have to stretch your hand to where the L1 button since the only way to move is the left analog stick.

Wouldn't the 360 version be better than the PS3 version in terms of controls? For the 360 version you don't have to stretch your hand to boost and move around.

Honestly, I never really had any problems with it, if you have both consoles it's not really a big difference except..well..that. And there's no way to change it I'm afraid. Vanquish has no custome controls setup.

Get yourself one of these. Lovely bit of kit.

How small are your hands that this is inconvenient?
Do you or do you not have tattooed on your bottom the words "Jesus is coming - look busy"?
#7Silverflash-x(Moderator)Posted 6/20/2012 12:40:37 AM is hitting the L1 button and moving the stick at the same time difficult? You have to do that in any console game.

Anyways, no, there's no way to change it.

A. None. Snakes don't have armpits.

Maybe it's just me, but is this guy playing with just his thumbs? Use your left thumb to move the left analog stick, then use either your left index or left middle finger to push L1/L2.

It honestly confounds me that somebody mature enough to purchase/own Vanquish (let's be honest, a pretty much not for children kind of game) doesn't have the ability to make that logical deduction.
Violence solves everything. If you have a problem that can't be solved with violence, you aren't using enough of it.

it fits perfectly in your hand.

thumb on analog. index on L1 or L2.
