Is the GR series good for a longtime R6 fan?

Been playing R6 since Rouge Spear, but never a GR title yet. Would this series appeal to someone whos a long time fan of the R6 formula?

depends on how much bs you want to put up with. There are no more games like Rogue Spear and Island Thunder.

This is going to be way more actiony than Rogue Spear. If I recall you still had to pre-plan your mission for that game right? I'd say this is even more action-oriented then recent R6 games. But if you like Clancy games you might want to check it out anyway. I try not to pigeon-hole any series' and I'm enjoying this one despite the flaws.

Cool thanks, ive played the r6 games beyond rouge spear as well up to and including vegas 2 and so far have liked them all though prefering the multiplayer and co op of the new games and single player of the older ones

It should feel pretty similar to RSV series to you, it does to me.

Maybe a little faster even, as characters move faster.

Rogue Spear is so dope I still want to load that game up from time to time. Man I miss the glory days of PC gaming.

I'm a fan of both series. My bro is more of a Rainbow Six fan but liked GRAW too, so I think you'll enjoy GR.
