Ammo counter

So I am curious about this. Is the ammo counter a

1: Traditional FPS how many rounds you have left I have an infinite amount of magazines counter or is it

2: I have X amount of magazines left and the game can track X amount of rounds per mag even if one is 1/4 used and saved for reserve were it can be pulled out after reloading several times?

I'm kinda hoping for the second choice.

Yup, infinite amount of clips.
Just tell Master Raiden you couldn't win the Mortal Kombat tournament 'cuz you were high. He'll understand.

i just wish they didnt clutter the screen with all the crap, put it in the corner of the screen not right at the end of my gun.

yeah, it sucks that you have infinite magazines. i liked the old PS2 SOCOM system of a starting with a certain number of fully loaded magazines and the game keeps track of how many bullets in each one.

really cool system, but i dont think ive ever come across a game on PS3 (besides SOCOM confrontation) that uses that system.

no game on PS3 uses that except socom, and thats because of CoD. their system won over the casual fanbase, so every game tries to copy aspects of it. and the infinet mags is just one thing.

sadly HDCORE fans of tom clanceys and socoms get overlooked in favour of cash. which sadly is all its about.
