I am getting conflicting information on this. I read that the female can pass on the Dream World ability, but that the male must be the same species.
Can someone clarify this? I am only getting male Pokemon in the Dream World. I don't know if I'm that unlucky or if females are just that rare. I would hope that males would also have a chance to pass the ability on. --- I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm sure you don't realize that what you heard isn't what I meant.
I am also getting way more males than females. Because it's been posted that DW males don't pass on the abilities, everyone else like me is probably not trying to breed with them. I do know that the DW females will only pass on the abilities to a percentage of both the male and female babies. You can breed a DW female with another pokemon in the same egg group; it doesn't have to be the same pokemon.
Oh, that's good to know. Being in the same egg group is much better than being the same species. --- I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm sure you don't realize that what you heard isn't what I meant.
so just as a clarify, I can't breed a male with a DW ability with some compatible female and get the baby to have the mother's potential dreamworld ability? IE let's say I had a male dratini from DW...I can't bred it with a female gyrados and have baby magikarp with the dream world ability? --- http://asset.soup.io/asset/0984/5929_bee3.jpeg SC2: ChaosSoldier 818 message for teams/cust/FFA
