No, they only gain experience points, and level up. Be carefull, if you leave them in there too long, they will learn moves by them selves and delete the ones they know. --- Member of the Buddies Shiny Shop. Nope. EVs come from vitamins, wings, and battling (with bonuses from Pokerus and/or EV training held items). Leveling up by other means (Rare Candy, day care for example) does not affect EVs. --- Platinum 2236 0408 5791, Black 4513 1039 3317 Can breed every family from every generation - PM / check profile for info.

But it's not too bad in Black/White because you can use TM's infinitely, and the game is full of Heart Scales everywhere. --- Black Friend code: 3138 6684 1752 Xbox Live Gamertag: Szabu991

Yeah you only have to watch out for egg moves being deleted. --- Pearl Code: 0731 1228 8254 White Code: 0862 2790 1982 SSBB: 0989-1461-9542

This x a lot. I actually go back in every few levels if I'm breeding for egg move + nature + IV, take out my male, and reposition the egg move to the bottom of his list so it lasts longer. I will add this though - the movelist is not recalculated until the pokemon comes out of the day care, so any eggs will be generated with the moves the father had when deposited, even if the moves are long gone when you take him out. --- Platinum 2236 0408 5791, Black 4513 1039 3317 Can breed every family from every generation - PM / check profile for info.

I've found that as long as you don't try to take out the male from the day care, the egg moves will continue to spread no matter the level.
