If a pokemon with Sheer Force uses Flame Charge, will its speed not increase?

I wanted to use this set:

Darmanitan @ LO
Adamant/Jolly, Sheer Force
252 ATk, 252 Speed
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Rock Slide
- Flame Charge

However, if flame charge doesn't increase the speed due to sheer force, i'll have to replace it. Thoughts?

It won't boost the Pokemon's speed, meaning you'd have to use Zen Mode, which is a terrible, terrible idea, lmao.

You know, LO Darmanitan is pretty good without having to boost his speed.

If you're not going to be U-Turning immediately out of habit, just go with Earthquake. There are better scouts thanks to typing, speed, and lack of an SR weakness.
