Assuming they decide to do 3D models for the Pokemon in this game...

They should be cel-shaded.

I fully agree, who would want odd-looking polygon things?

ha... i doubt they'll ever make a 3D-model pokemon game for these handhelds... i doubt it could handle 493 fully 3D pokemon... plus any variants...

then again, maybe im underestimating the DS... who knows...

You are, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker had about three hundred something monsters, the game was short, but it barely used any of the 1gb card.
#6PleaseEatSirPosted 2/22/2010 11:05:19 PM
yeah DQMJ was 30.3 MB

let's see one thing

possible 2gb card

MB needed for 2GB

2000

gb is GB divided by eight

about 250 is the largest MB count

It's actually 256, so largest DS cart is 256 MB

And yeah. Since DQMJ used decent cel-shaded 3D and was only that big, if we wanted all 600 (As we'll have at the end of this) it'd be easy. That actually had like 198 or something like that.

So it'd be easy-peasy.

210. Although Joker 2 is set to feature over 300.

No it's not. Ninokuni will use a 512 MB cart.

Well, the graphics can certainly handle it. Look at 358/2 Days.
