It's regarding how it works -> "If held by a Pokémon, it gets to move first just once in a pinch" I got two scenarios I would like to know what happens if anyone is nice to answer. Let's say it's a Raichu with 300 speed and a Golem(1 HP left) with 200 speed and the Custap Berry is activated. 1) Raichu uses Quick attack and Golem Uses Earthquake, which one acts first? 2) Raichu uses Quick attack and Golem uses Sucker Punch, which one acts first? Sucker punch + Custap Berry = +2 priority?
On Serebii it says sucker Punch got +1 priority though =/ What if Golem uses Quick Attacl (let say he got it) No matter what Golem will always act first? Or Arcanine uses Extreme speed that got +2 priority vs Golem using regular move/ +1 priorit move
Shuckle goes first if: -Deo uses Tackle, Shuckle uses Tackle. (Same Priority Tier: 0) -Deo uses Quick Attack, Shuckle uses Mach Punch. (Same priority tier: +1) -Deo uses Quick Attack, Shuckle uses Extreme Speed. (Shuckle's got higher priority: Deo at +1 vs. Shuckle at +2)
Deo goes first if: -Deo uses Quick Attack, Shuckle uses Tackle: (Deo's got higher Priority: Deo at +1 vs. Shuckle at 0) -Deo uses Tackle, Shuckle uses Trick Room. (Deo's got higher Priority: Deo at 0 vs. Shuckle at -7)
Custap Berry acts like Quick Claw: When it activates, you go first within your speed tier, but the item doesn't ignore Priority tiers.
Or switch the berry for leftovers and Earthquake for Protect. Use Protect to fully recover HP from SR(if any) then use Counter. The idea is to use counter to KO the other pokemon then the berry activates and you can (hopefully) use Explosion or other move.
