I've recently found out that you can find a Jellicent in the wild from levels 5-20. Although to do this, according to Serebii, the method is "Surf - Special" as opposed to just Surf with Frillish. What does Surf - Special mean?

I think it means you have to go on the dark spots in the water that appear randomly.

Oh, ok. Would that be the same concept as the shaking patches of grass?

Its like the shaking grass and dust spots, but in the water. Its a dark circle that appears, keep walking around near an edge of water.

Ok I just found out that it is Basculin that appears in those darker spots?
Can anyone give me some form of confirmation on how to catch a Jellicent/if it does appear in those dark spots?
