So I have an edited Pokémon, was only edited to make it shiny. I've looked at different places and it said edited shinnies can be used in tournaments, but 2 people have told me that they can't be used. So can anybody tell me which is the right answer?

Well, if you do take your "edited" Pokemon to a tournament and are discovered to have cheated in such a way, you will be kicked out from the tournament.

That said, if you edited it well, it should be indistinguishable.

On the other hand, why do you even care if it's shiny? Shininess is an utterly worthless quality and doesn't affect how well your pogeymen fight, meaning you edited your Pokemon for no reason for this tournament and might get kicked out for using it.
