Pokemon Black Version

To say the truth, it's not like the gen 5 Pokémon had any worse design than the other gens.

Look at gen 1.

A pokeball evolving into a reversed pokeball

A cat evolving into a larger cat.

A magnet evolving into 3 magnets.

Of course gen 5 has as worse designs, like the ice cream pokemon.

But really, I think Gen 5 is one of my favorite gens. For me, it had a lot of great Pokémon.

Carracosta
Reuniclus
Cofagrigus

Just to name a few.

I gotta admit though, the starters are quite weak compared to the other gens.

The only immediately complaint I can think of is the region design / map layout. B2/W2 makes it slightly better, but it still doesn't change the fact that core design of the region being a single tiny path branching onto what's essentially a giant circle where the center is an area meant for Wireless communication is awful.

That being said, I'm not looking for convoluted maps, but Unova's is so plain and unoriginal.

The 5 gen is the worst. As they make more they are worse and worse. The names weren't even clever. Like snivy and tepig. And that water Pokemon has nothing to do with its last form. I feel like their taking tool like the candle one, ice cream cone , munny, and the gears. The Pokemon hear are mostly double type like water/electric. The names are so stupid. Those are the only one i can remeber but they have a lot of stupid ones. They get worse as the generation goes down. But the game is really good. Maby the best pokemon game. Oh and it's funny because I cheated too because I couldn't stand patrat and all the other ones with those stupid names. So I have like all the legendary ones. Overall I think you should use the action replay because it gets rid of a lot of annoying things. ( the generation with blazakien was really good )

The Pokemon names were never clever lol. Krabby, Jynx, Mr Mime, Seel, Muk, Drowzee, Abra, Kadabra etc. Those sound like lazy, unclever names. Plus, Charmander=charcoal+salamander, Squirtle=squirt+turtle. Snivy=Snake+Ivy, Tepig=tepid+pig. There's no difference, the Pokemon names have always been altered real words or two words combined to come up with names. Only most legendaries have had creative names. Also, Dragonite looks competely different from Dratini and Dragonair. Oh, Magnamite/Voltorb. And I don't see the problem with duel types. Gen 5 seems to have one of the best duel types yet: Dragon/Dark, Bug/Electric, Dragon/Electric, Dragon/Fire, Ghost/Fire, Bug/Fire etc.
