That sound's like fun. I would be laughing if so many people tried to use a variation of Ray's team. Time to make a team that can counter it. :)

How will they check for hacks? I am considering entering, this would be my first time. Anything I should know?

Do any of you guys enter knowing you won't get anywhere and know nothing about competitive battling?

I wouldn't mind entering but have no experience whatsoever.

I have a few EV'd etc pokemon in my PC so am thinking i might enter for fun.

Average skill level of opponents isn't that high. If you've got some EV'd Pokemon, you can win a few games.

Probably the same as random Wi-Fi. Try you team there and if it works it'll probably be allowed in the tournament.

It is the same as normal random matchup. Last tournament there was this douche going around with a Whimsicott that knew both Beat Up and Encore, and illegal egg move combo.

I'm down but it'll be hard to top the 38th place I got in the spring friendly.

Enter for the experience. You'll probably learn a thing or two; you may even find some strategies to adopt.

gravity does not affect the pokemon weight, it just makes the pokemon immune to ground attacks
