I don't own the game yet, but from past experience I would guess server overload, the game just came out for U.S. and I bet everyone is trying to get on, it happen with GT5 as well. --- --- I get by, in my Shadow
I've had the game since early Tuesday. All day Tuesday into Wednesday morning it was fine. But since Wednesday the servers been down. As was said in an above post, the same happened with GT5 for the 1st few days. No need to panic or get to upset, they're most like still working on the server infrastructure. Contrary to what most people think about servers, you can't set them up ahead of time, or fix them in real time. They have to be put in Maintenance mode in order to be worked on, which is what I'd supposed Eden Games is doing. Give it until Sunday, then things should be running smoothly.
^ So this isn't just an excuse that applies to MMORPGs anymore? Interesting... Also GT5 was patched and online within 2 days. This game has been out nearly 4 and with HORRID online interactivity. Also yes you can test servers and set them up before release. The servers were actually already up a week prior to the game coming out that I personally know of due to reviewers and testing. :) --- "What is strength without a double dose of wisdom?"
