I've noticed this within the past week. My game is burned to the hard drive, but whenever I power my system down (doesn't matter through controller or power button) the disk continues to spin even a half hour later.

Is this my system, or have others noticed as well?

It's your system. Do you leave the disc in the system? It's better to take it out, otherwise, there may be damage to the disc in the future. Because you move the system, the disc will be scratched.

Do you have cloud storage enabled? If so, try disabling it and see if the problem persists.

This. Take your disc out before it can be scratched.

Yeah I typically leave it in the system. I've been doing it for years though, I've never noticed it with other games before...

That's interesting about the cloud storage though, I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for the tip =)

TC- My console does that too. I've had it for about 2-3 years though, does that mean it's dying or what?

Sometimes after I turn off the Xbox it will suddenly go really loud for about 10 seconds then turns off, sounds like the fans are going into overdrive (this happens maybe once a week, if that)
