mattfrank posted... That is some rare instance of an surprise attack,AGGL shouldnt fail as long as the monster has a pattern read and respond. No weapon would work where there are two monsters pinning on you from both sides??. Dont you think anyone could use this same example to disprove HM,dragon shot,Bow and BG being broken/overpower.Hmm....so easy. Comparing AGGL with Lance counter doesnt justify or make it innocent.AGGL certainly is safer and allow bigger room for mistake,which 'burito' before me claimed otherwise. lol @ "rare instance". Didn't you say a moment ago that AGGL could never fail and was full proof? I simply proved such statements were wrong even if those two examples are extremely situational or rare. --- MH will have to wait. Lance NEEDS Guard + to be effective Maybe for you, but I can lance fine without it, and it seems just as effective in my experience. it is not easier to time than AGGL and you cant cancel LC if you wrongly predict the monster's next attack This is true, but you seem to be neglecting that it is still pretty easy to time, and you can still block while the counter attack is charging. If you only need a split second to counter, both time windows are more than enough, and it's pretty tough to NOT get a counter in on time. Lance counter allows more agrressive lancing,but AGGL rewards reckless lancing and it is simply fool-proof and cant fail. AGGL can fail. Also, just because it would be reckless if there was no AGGL, doesn't make it reckless lancing. For example, driving a car downhill WOULD be reckless driving if you had no brakes. Fortunately, most vehicles driving down hill have brakes, so it is not reckless driving. You're presupposing that AGGL shouldn't exist, while there is no proof either way for, or against, the intention to put it in the game. To put it another way, as it stands, it is equivalent to proving that God exists. There is no proof that such an entity exists. At the same time, there is no proof to the contrary. People can bicker all they want, but there is simply not enough information on the matter, and the best you can say is that you can't prove it either way. And while I have nothing against anyone taking a stance to one side or the other of the matter, it is simply wrong to say with certainty that your stance is correct, and to impose it on others. --- Spicy. | |
