After reading the new interview

I actually really like the Suit Upgrade system, It seems like the major upgrades also hinder you in exchange for what you need.

"Id pick Heavy Armor (Damage reduction at a cost to movement speed)"

This will make you really have to think, and classes will be much more balanced. For example, A Tank would hypothetically have slow movement and slow reloading, while a Stealth/Ghost class would be fast and unseen on the radar but have little defense and firepower to use. I'm very excited now.

I think ill like perks if they are all used unlike in COD when the useful ones are overused

All are useful, people just see "Increased Damage/Health" and tweak out. Things like UAV Jammer are sorely underutilized and when used right can destroy a player who just isn't paying attention.

Yeah but the balance always seems a bit off like Dead Silence was a bit of a waste in COD4 you have to admit.

very true, considering you could just crouch if you wanted to be silent

"Yeah but the balance always seems a bit off like Dead Silence was a bit of a waste in COD4 you have to admit."

That is probably my most useful perk for S&D. With it on, you can hear people halfway across the map if you have headphones (Which I do).

And on the crouching thing, you can still be heard while crouching. You make a shuffling noise.

I find Iron Lungs a waste though, and half-decent sniper doesn't need more than a couple secs to take a shot. Ex-con is much more useful.

I think the most important thing that everyone will probably forget is that the difference between an upgrade makes a difference in gameplay, but doesn't actually give a straight edge.
It really sucks when you're trying to unlock a weapon, but you hardly get any exp/money/whatever because the only things available to your are total ****. A good variety at the start is key, and making it a straight "play for this long, and you get this. play for this long, and you get that." just kills that.
Hopefully, you buy your upgrades instead of earning them", and a real nice point would be if you started with nothing but a bunch of money, enough to buy the set you wanted at the start. That would really fix that issue.

Yea, If all weapons or at least most of them aren't available at the start; I will be really PO'ed and probably not get this game. This isn't COD where any weapon can own because of the Health system.

Again, with the matchmaking system, you'll be playing against others in the same boat you are. Upgrades keep the game interesting.

Having said that, I really hope they have a chameleon upgrade. They could make it so you slowly lose health when you have chameleon engaged due to the radiation created by the effect to balance it out.

Speaking of balancing, the phaze sniper rifle should just be a slow rifle to balance it out. In other words, it takes a while for the phaze system to regenerate. They could also make it so you can keep shooting without the phaze system fully recharged, but with a reduced phaze effect (damage and/or visibilityis reduced when going through solid objects).

I can't wait for this game.
