i think 25 is plenty. that doesnt mean i wouldnt like more but i think 25 is just enought to add variety without adding too much variety

I'm going to assume that it shoots multiple beams, and you tune it so that they converge on a point. Anything on that exact point takes damage, and anything near it takes very minor "splash" damage.
Blast radius would be a sort of seed shape.

'least, that's what I'd do with it.

We need more information, does it need Tuning for Wall penetration? or for Beam accuracy?

id have to say beam accuracy, but depth is another possible factor to be considered
