You know what we need?

Multiplayer Beta. If Nintendo cooperates, we could download it from the Wii Shop Channel, and play it just like on other consoles. It would be a great way to spot bugs and fix it so it's no so glitchy.

it would be too big.

Even if its just a tiny part of the game, it's going to require the Whole engine.

It would have to load off the SD card, and the Wii isn't really built for loading commercial games from SD. On top of that, even a demo with a single map would be around 80MB. The more areas you add, the bigger the download, the more space is needed, ect, ect. Playtesting one map is pretty much pointless.

This just doesn't work that well on the Wii. It doesn't have the internal memory, and the external isn't well enough supported.

Production and distribution of disks is expensive.

Unless it was a pretty limited number.

Send a Wii message, make a 4.3 update actually useful instead of trying to stop homebrewers, allow people to download demo's of games from a PC to their SD Card. Simple.

I think maybe two or three maps with 3 game types (or something along those lines) would be a good. Downloaded to SD card of course. Couldn't you do what it does with the WiiWare/VC games for the whole loading part?

Nintendo would never allow it.

That's because Nintendo doesn't like 3rd party games. **** Nintendo, you just have to ruin everything, don't you?

Actually, it's because of the potential security hole of notifying people that they can stick their SD card into a PC as well as a Wii.
