Let's please be honest, i don't think it's a good idea to run directly into these games. Even if Conduit 2 ends up being the superior game it will be hard to compete with these games because of their big names. On the other hand, a few months after the release of these games, the Wii market might be more fertile for an FPS. It would also give some time to observe the advantages and disadvantages of these titles. --- No More Heroes
Delaying it for any other reason than it needing more time is lame. >_> I'm buying this day one. Plus, it's a sequel, so it may do better. Especially if it shows at e3 really well. --- VE - http://www.formspring.me/Vermineater Now Playing: Pokemon: HeartGold, UT2K4, stuff
If they Delay it, then most people will have COD and maybe GE as well. Why would you want this game too? You have to release it BEFORE Call of Duty, or the sales will be nowhere near then where they could be. Plus, they will lose any sales from the Holiday season. --- MWR Screen Name - Pur1fy | The Conduit Screen Name - Pure | MOH:H2 - Pur1fy http://www.youtube.com/user/SupahShnipa - COMMENTARIES
Considering the changes made are features which are very common right now, and that Tcon1 wasn't that big of a financial gain, I'd say they're trying to make the game more mainstream, for business purposes. And if that's the case, why not put it out at a time with no fresh competition? Many people are in a "can only afford one game right now" situation. Most people will go where the hype is and not choose the lesser-known product. Strike when the market isn't hot, I'd say.
Also, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is being released Q1 2011. Judging by GRAW, there will be a TON of hype for it. The market is still very hot in Spring, look at this year. And if they release it when the market is cold, nobody will care about it or want new games anyways. Look at what happened to TCon's release. The market wasn't too active then. --- MWR Screen Name - Pur1fy | The Conduit Screen Name - Pure | MOH:H2 - Pur1fy http://www.youtube.com/user/SupahShnipa - COMMENTARIES
