I hope they delay this until Q1 2010 to avoid CoD BO and Goldeneye

@Vermineater: The article you linked to uses some very misleading formulations.
All the information we have about this new Goldeneye suggests a remake of the original (like the Resident Evil remake on Gamecube), not a sequel.
It also fails to mention that the rumored developer, Eurocom has picked up some ex-Rare and ex-Free Radical Design employees. It is possible that people who worked on the original Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Timesplitters are involved in this. This could definitely be something to be excited about.
Also, if Activision is seriously considering to release this game with a golden CCPro and a golden Klobb Zapper like suggested in the survey, i'm sure they are very confident in this games quality .

Well, i just assumed everyone saw the topics on the Wii message board. Anyway, here is some info about...
...the mysterious survey:

http://www.gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=125721

... Eurocom having Rare/Free Radical developers and more:

http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/103/1038911p1.html

... a little bit more on the developers, release window, platforms:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/activision-goldeneye-game-in-november

Of course we don' have much information, and even less can be considered confirmed, but I'm generally somewhat confident.

I don't think this game should be delayed... Makes it seem like an afterthought. I doubt there will be much advertisement for Black Ops based on their lack of ads for MWR. Goldeneye might get some ads, but with a new wave of gamers in the general market, the sure fire nostalgia nerve that Activision may be banking on would be more of a non-factor. If HVS devotes a bit of time to ad space, this game will seem like the major player and the others after-thoughts. General gamers will flock to this first, and the quote/unquote "hardcore" will be sure to follow. So no, this shouldn't be delayed IMO.
