is this game FINALLY going to be the shooter wii owners have been waiting for?

topic.

lets face it, all of the fps on the wii have had a missed feature or terrible flaw that kept them from being the "complete package". lets take a look at a few...

1. medal of honor heroes 2:
+ran great online
fatal flaw: everything else

2. the cod games
+runs pretty good, fully featured
fatal flaw: no damn voice chat

3.conduit
+runs pretty good, fun to play, voice chat
fatal flaws: easily hackable, too many glitches, and ******* LOCK ON!!!, among other things

with that said, when is somebody going to do a shooter "right" on the wii?! you know, have all of the features without any of the flaws? will this game be the one?

discuss...

Hopefully. It certainly sounds like its fixing a lot of the problems from the first game. At the moment the only problem (or at least problem to some) that we know will be back is lock-on, and even then there may be modes without. The rest we'll have to wait and see :\.

You mean the auto-win-button?
Are you joking? You don't have to aim because of that.

Yes, you do. Everyone on here over-exaggerates it. Yes, I completely understand why you dislike it, as it makes the noob's much better, but you still have to aim. You don't press the lock on button, and then shoot. You have much easier aiming, but you still AIM. This is why I'm very glad HVS is supposedly (I'm not sure if it's been confirmed) making a no lock-on mode.

Holding your Wiimote at the middle of the screen doesn't count as aiming... Especially since you can just hold it off-screen.

it hasn't been confirmed yet. Last we heard it was being discussed. It's actually a good thing people are talking about lock-on a lot and making a big deal about it even if it is over-exaggeration at times. The more vocal people are about it the more likely we are to see an option like that done.

True, very true. And that's only because HVS is plain awesome and they actually LISTEN to their consumers! :D
