ragdoll physics

For those who don't know what this is, think of Halo, when you die by a greanade and go flying across the map, that is ragdoll physics. The death animation is sooooo boring. Ragdoll physics always make me laugh and that way people can teabag =D

LOL...i 100% agree with what you just said. I love the way the limbs of dead bodies just go flailing about when they die by an explosion.

Considering the cpu constraints, Ragdoll would be a very bad idea.

The trade off you get from doing death animations instead is SOOO worth it.
especially since ragdoll doesn't really do anything for the gameplay or anything else.

Animations are fine as long as there are quite a few of them, and they're death-specific.
Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right?

The PS2 FPS Cold Winter had amazing ragdoll physics...some of the best I've seen.

Does this look like a PS2 game?

HVS is putting a lot of work into the death animations. Likely more work than it would take to do ragdoll.
And they have a very good reason for doing so.

But the humour of ragdoll is 200% better than a silly death animation to me. But HVS can do as they please, this game looks amazing either way.

uhh, I don't recall anyone in this topic saying this looked like a PS2 game.
