But then it only really works with a sneaking class. Otherwise, it's a waste of a perk slot.
Not to say it couldn't work, it's just that it would be pretty awkward, and not as effective as just adding in a "hardcore" or "competitive" or "not fail" or whatever you want to call it mode without Lock-on to begin with. Of course, there's no harm in both. Have the extra mode always have that perk enabled for everyone, without taking up a perk slot. Maybe with a few other perks, as well, like infinite sprinting, or faster reload times, to keep the gameplay fast-paced. --- 2% of GameFAQs users have this in their signature. If you think about it, an anti-lock on perk could give you a split second edge. People who are so used to lock-on will tap the button and expect the camera to swivel and center the enemy. The split second they realize that lock-on doesn't work, you would have already opened fire oon them and probably killed them.
Basically an anti-lock-on perk would give you a surprise factor that could give you an edge on lock-on using people, which will be like everyone. --- Proud Student of the University of Pennsylvania MWR: 4893-7948-2427The Conduit: 2836-7869-1737
