i saw in this video how the ladders work: at 1:55
it looks VERY unnatrual. i hope they fix that....

I don't care if my character looks like he's having a seizure while he's climbing a ladder as long as the game as a whole is enjoyable.

Besides, there are plenty of other things to worry about.

try playing Resident evil: The Darkside Chronicles, you can miraculously reload with two hands while climbing a ladder! :D

They said it's a waste to animate hands.

That is why they don't animate hands for opening doors either.

A lot of games don't do that. It shouldn't matter. Sadly I bet reviewers will nitpick about this.

Ill be happy as long I can't see the guns while climbing. They have made some special animations for some motions (watch the leviathan battle video, right before the battle begins ford uses his left hand to flip a large switch)

Half-life does pretty much the same thing and it was perfect.

yea hey thats pretty much wat it looks like in other games and all so idc but hey at least there is ladders lol
