I believe that the SMAW should be balanced to the point that you need to be quite skilled with it in order to be effective.
In C1 the SMAW was unpredictable. Sometimes I'd make direct hits on laggy players and they wouldn't die. Then they'd fire back and it would kill me after exploding 2 to 3 meters away. Then there was the fact that it was a default weapon in the Explosive weapon set; that was an awful idea, IMO. You should've started with the TPC Launcher and either a Deatomizer or a USP, making the SMAW a pickup. --- Uncharted 2 Machinima Voice Actor. Currently playing Sully and Lazarevic.
