there seems to be alot of interest in its sequel. this games board has been a main stay in the top ten message boards for quite some time now, and almost up there with modern warfare reflex. you cant really say the same for the games that many of the "haters" are considering to be better, such as goldeneye and black ops.
so yeah, for a game that everyone supposedly thinks is garbage (check any topic on the wii board, or any other forum really, for proof of this), this sequel seems to be getting alot of attention. your thoughts?

Why do I still check the C2 board? After all, when I played The Conduit, I felt it was the worst FPS of this console generation. And HVS doesn't exactly have a great track record. The description "shovelware quality" comes to mind when I think of HVS games.
So why? My friends and I look for games that support four players on a single system. C2 is one of those options. I've more interest in The Grinder, but HVS decided to backburner that game.
There is a bit of a trainwreck watching mentality to it as well. Outside of the small diehard Conduit/HVS fan community, HVS' reputation is terrible. Personally, I figure odds are C2 won't surpass "average" or "inoffensively forgettable" status. But it is interesting to follow the hope and the promises. And who knows, it might even manage "passable" by the end.
The biggest reason though is that the Wii has been pretty dead when it comes to interesting software for the last year. No need to look at the Metroid boards, I'll just play it when it comes out. Nothing to say about Sengoku Basara or Samurai Warriors until they finally see US release. Monster Hunter has already came and gone. I'm just saying. What do those games do that Conduit 2 doesn't? We don't know, they haven't been released yet.
Also, it's not about which game has the most features. It's about which game is the most fun. I'd take a game thats Balanced and has fun gameplay over a game that has many more features but just isn't fun.
MW2 had a TON of features, was it fun? Not so much. In all honesty, Conduit 2 has the potential of being the Wii's MW2. --- Minecraft > ALL http://www.threadbombing.com/data/media/2/Chuck_Norris_Approves.gif
