I'm finally getting a Wii on Sunday and I never had the chance to play the Conduit a while back when I had one. Would I be able to pick up the Conduit 2 and immerse myself in it or would I be lost without having played the first? --- Your opinion is wrong. My opinion is fact. GT: J33F // PSN: Dead_Before_Dawn

I'm guessing yes.
The audience of the first was pretty small, there are going to be a lot of people who didn't play it. HVS will likely make accommodations.

Yeah buying C1 isn't important. Just make sure you buy C2. Make all your friends buy it too.

You can watch youtube walkthroughs, they aren't very long. It could make some sense as to why is that glowing thing talking to you, why all enemies know you, and why you are coming out of a portal... Unless those are explained in the intro cinematic.

If C2 doesn't explain those things I'm sure anyone here can explain them instead of him having to go watch youtube videos.

Ok honestly if you dont want to spend money and you want to get the story, go on youtube and watch a walkthrough.

I would just buy the game and play it. It's really not that bad, and you can usually find it used for under $20 these days. --- Uncharted 2 Machinima Voice Actor. Currently playing Sully and Lazarevic. Add me on PSN if you want to get involved: Geo_Chronic.

If you tried to play Conduit 1 Online the hype for this game would die a little for you :P --- Greg Hastings Paintball 2 for the Wii!

Seriously, you can buy this game for like less than $20. I saw it at Gamestop as a bargain.

If you're even asking this question you should probably familiarize yourself with the story or you will be very confused early on. How you do this is up to you. --- I apologize for whatever I just said.
