Portal interview quick roundup

This is the first time I listened to the podcast from the conduit portal... And it was worth it. Lots of info, no unannounced weapons or big spoilers but there some confirmations and details, hopefully I remember everything:

Not in the game yet:
*Party system and LAN. Both must be discussed early for several months to be approved.
* Fully destructible environments. There are destructible objects though
* More than two teams in multiplayer, but HVS is interested on it.
* Custom weapons
* Clan tags
* Online split screen. Its doable though
* Dual weapon wielding

Controls:
* CC and CCP does not have lock on
* The auto aim glitch was removed
* Hardcore mode reconfirmed (no lock on and radar)

Gameplay:
* Most guns have the same + shaped crosshair
* ASE scans faster
* ASE now bips only if you are looking for hidden stuff unlike the first game
* 30+ suit upgrades
* Not all upgrades can be used in story mode
* You cant use upgrades with the old trust suit, when Ford gets the destroyer armor he can use them
* some new upgrades include: stealth (invisible to radar), longer melee reach, blinding attack (flashes you briefely if you get melee'ed)

Customization:
* Most of the models for multiplayer are customizable
* The body armor pieces can have two colors each

Invasion:
* Can change class mid-game
* After some waves, a supply box wil be droped to restore ammo
* Several different enemies, old and new

Maps
* Larger maps have a smaller version when there are fewer players
* Streets is confirmed as a returning map, with improved visuals

Multiplayer and Online:
* Fourteen unique game modes with modifiers each
* Voting for public matches only gives you two modes and two maps to choose. For the next match you get to choose other two.
* Rivals can be added after a match in the lobby. Send request and wait for the response
* Kick system confirmed. After a match people can vote to expulse a hacker/glitcher from the lobby.

Other:
* No word on bundles (it is up to sega)
* Some aspects of Conduit 2 have taken inspiration from Gladiator AD (or ToL)
* Main reason for the delay was to polish the game

pretty promising...but lock on should be thrown in the thrash completely...Listen to me HVS, throw away the lock on feature in online multiplayer...

That very much troubles me. Though it is interesting that CCP and CC don't have lock on but will HVS add the aim assist for them?
That wouldn't be good for comparing them to other control schemes but I hope that doesn't happen.

Oh, and forgot something important (but disappointing)

* HVS is not looking into more game modes than they currently have.

It seems that is too late for that kind of feedback now

Well, if it turns out to be what you typed, then I would be fine with that but, it could turn out that instead of 2 or 4 out of 16 faction armors being fixed, it could then be 7 or 8 out of 20 being fixed.

Though I'll just keep that at the back of my mind then.

If any of the models have fixed appearances other than the gold destroyer army it will probably be a few of the aliens.
