Day 11 - Shrieker
Guided missile launcher. Damn Skimmers.
(No videos yet, iirc. There are some pictures if someone would be so kind to find them)
The Shrieker fires biomass grenades that fly toward the surface hit by the laser sight (your reticule). In The Conduit, you could launch 3 at a time, and they were reasonably fast. In Conduit 2, it can launch 4 at a time, but I haven't heard of any other changes. It has to use the alt-fire button somehow, right? --- Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right? It's ****ing satire, damnit. My quote rocks your socks.
One question i've been trying to answer for the longest ****ing time is...
How does a person normally hold the Shrieker?
It has a shoulder rest on it, yet i see character models holding it like an assault rifle, and the Drudge hold it with one arm, with the gun upside down... Whats the proper way that this thing is meant to be held????
Well whatever, badass weapon though. Reminds me of the Cerebral Bore. --- Sparkster returns after 16 years in..... "Rocket Knight" My Alias for Wii Online = "Shader" Monster Hunter Tri = "Deimos"
This is one weapon I'd really like to get better with, because I never used it in the first game. It's pretty damn good when you know how to use it though. And I can't imagine what the alt-fire might be... My guess (well, my hope actually, which has practically no chance of being right) is that it fires a much more powerful projectile that you can guide (as in the camera switches to right behind it and follows). The catch would be that you have a massive indicator over your head indicating where you are to enemy players. Also, this would use a big chunk of ammo.
Takes time to get used to that weapon and when you do, you'll be able to shot three and KO individuals.
Anyways, I like to imagine that those circular orange projectiles are honey globs and the people who get hit by it, cheerios --- NER , Oh how you haunt me. The server El Nido is called El Nino or El Ninorino in my book
My favorite gun that I could never have in the last game. I was seriously disappointed with the low spawn rate of the shrieker. Whenever I had it though, it was fun as hell. Could easily 3 shot kill someone at close range in a very short amount of time. So glad we can just pick it in load outs now. --- PSN: LawnGnome93, Playing: Civ V, BlazBlue CS, SSF4, CoD BO, AC Brotherhood -Flame
Often tried using people and objects to divert the 'bio-spheres' toward places around corners. Hard to do, but when it works... oh so rewarding.... Such a unique weapon. --- Sparkster returns after 16 years in..... "Rocket Knight" My Alias for Wii Online = "Shader" Monster Hunter Tri = "Deimos"
I loved this gun. I could Hit a drudge hiding behind a wall far away. Also, it's pretty cool when you aim all the way up, then look down at the enemy. The shots come falling down like rain. --- Give me liberty, or give me pizza pie
