The Deatomizer shoots small plasma bullets as fast as you can shoot, and charges up to fire a bolo shot that sticks to a target and spins around them until the ends collide. We don't have much footage in Conduit 2, but the bullets are said to travel faster. Also, the bolo shot appears to have changed from two bolos attached to 3 shots to a single bolo attached to 2. The ammo is probably reduced, but I haven't seen it full or reloaded yet.

I'm glad the bullet speed has increased. It was considered a long range weapon but the slow projectiles meant that it was nearly impossible to hit anything far away. I also like the fact that the two projectiles are now connected in the middle. It will make using the charged shots much easier.

It looks to me like the Trust equivalent of a sub-machine gun, which I guess makes sense, since the Trust is now getting proper snipers, pistols, and assault rifles. I found it pretty ineffective unless you either spammed the trigger, got consistent headshots from somewhat far away (MP5 range or so), or shot a charged shot at point blank range. Man, the Trust got a lot of weapons... I mean, they only had 3 (not counting the prototype) in the first game, but now they have the AR-C Eclipse, the Aegis Device (I think, that might be Atlantian), the Phase Rifle, and I'm assuming the HVS.45 is theirs, plus the original 3.

Tony has confirmed to me on the portal that the red deato is the second first of the Deatomizer Mk9. IM not sure how we change it if we still have the scope.

I always liked how the deatomizer felt. My trigger finger made the Strike Rifle and This one very fun to use.
I have no idea how this weapon has changed. To be honest, I want to keep it that way until Conduit 2 comes out.

Tony Mecca said the Deatomizer had a design overhall.... so i wonder what its new look is. (Its no longer a Vector that shoots plasma from plasma cells.)

The deatomizer was a fun weapon in the first. Hitting a target with the middle plasma in the fully charged shot was so satisfying. Having a second level charge is a neat addition to it. Looks like its the Trust's primary weapon of choice this time around again.

Also, best weapon in the game was either the SCAR, Strike Rifle, or Pistol. The Deatomizer slow ammo reduced its combat ability.
