The whole revival system doesn't sit well with me right now.

.. Well i dont think being forced to respawn is a bad thing. Theres significant time before that happens, and from the looks of it, you can now actually do stuff as your dead. What i mean is that you can access a menu before you respawn. So you can leave the match, mess with settings, or whatever else.

You're forced to respawn when you get double-tapped. It'd be nice if the "embrace death" button would show up before the timer runs out.

All that needs to be done, is that once your downed, you kill streak ends, and the person who downed you gets a kill.

And seeing as this is something that could possibly be adjusted before going gold, how would people like to see the system done?

A specific game mode, most likely one of the current objective based ones.
