There has been a major reduction in clip-size and total ammo, but there are improvements in many other aspects. The RoF is higher, and shells will now bounce once off of surfaces except when hitting a target. Also, the alt-fire launches proximity-triggered grenades that stick to the first surface they touch, including teammates. --- Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right? to see how this weapon turns out. THe mines should be fun, I just hope they dont end up like claymores in Black ops -.- I f*ckin at those things >_< --- CONDUIT MASTA!, GOLDENEYE SLAYA!, AND BLACK OPS PLAYA! Don't make me ROFL your sawks off!
No footage aside from old E3 stuff (which looks different), but here's a picture: http://blogs.sega.com/usa/2011/03/14/conduit-2-a-preview-into-your-arsenal/ --- Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right? It's ****ing satire, damnit. My quote rocks your socks.
I didn't use the TPC much in TCon simply because the only time I ever had it was in Explosives and I had the SMAW. However, when I did use it, I liked it. The fact that the projectiles bounce now completely changes the weapon's capabilities. I can't wait to try it. Actually, I can't wait to try any of the guns.
Gimmeh muh Conduit nao!
I'm also a little worried about the proximity mines. In CoD, all the colors are the muted colors of "realism," so you could miss seeing the Claymores. In a brighter game like C2, I think they'll probably be easier to spot, (we still haven't seen what they look like to enemies, right?) making them more difficult to use. You'd have to hide them around corners and doorways (although you should usually be doing that anyways). Couple that with the fact that they probably won't be a one-hit kill, and you have the potential for an overly-situational weapon. --- I apologize for whatever I just said.
There's always the strategic use of area denial, at least enough to make them reluctant to go through a chokepoint. Psychologically, they can be used to convince opponents to go a certain direction without doing any damage themselves.
The proxies shouldn't be the main damage output unless enemies aren't very bright, just because they'll be easy to see. --- Surely there's no problem with them putting me in Brawl, right? It's ****ing satire, damnit. My quote rocks your socks.
The arking projectile shots do decent explosive damage and the weapon has a good ammout of em too. The mines are going to be interesting to use though, wonder if there's an option to make them invisable. --- NER , Oh how you haunt me. The server El Nido is called El Nino or El Ninorino in my book
