unlike the first one where it just ends with a ton of loose ends --- Dont let your mind wander, its too small to be out on its own Goldeneye FC: 396181417375

Apparently it does, but does not bring a definitive closure.

If the story closes, then theres no story for Conduit 3.
Plot holes are an important part of a story, they allow more expansion to be made.
i love cliffhangers. --- Sparkster returns after 16 years in..... "Rocket Knight" My Alias for Wii Online = "Shader" Monster Hunter Tri = "Deimos"

I doubt the story is going to definitively close, but HVS has stated that the ending is going to rock our socks.

^It better. The first one was just bad. I liked the story, but...It just ended. My first playthrough I was like "What the ****? Over already?"

I think they are going to have a toss up ending, where it can be the end, but it can lead to C3

Eric Nofsinger has been saying "it has a really good ending" so I would assume it wouldnt be left open. It probably will end, but still have room for more story. --- CONDUIT MASTA!, GOLDENEYE SLAYA!, AND BLACK OPS PLAYA! Don't make me ROFL your sawks off!

i actually liked the ending for the first conduit. the first person fight scene was pretty epic, and it totally rocked when ford smacked that drone in the face with the ASE

You cant have a completely closed ending with a story, and then give the same story a sequel.
If it is a complete and closed ending, Conduit 3 would have to feature a different protagonist and antagonist, with a different setting and plotline. No Drudge, no ASE, no alien undercover controlling USA for the past 200 years, and no Annunnaki. --- Sparkster returns after 16 years in..... Or, It could have a semi-closing. Where they repel the aliens off of Earth. That could lead to a sequel...IN SPACE.
