Are you paranoid about reloading?

#11The_ShaderPosted 4/6/2011 7:39:01 PM
i reload whenever i have the opportunity.

If i KNOW theres a guy around and i have a few more bullets left, i wont reload until i know no enemies are around the corner.

Getting caught reloading is one of the worst things a person could do.

Im the same way in GE, someone could even be coming at me and i would run and hide while I reload even if I have plenty of bullets left

I'm the same, I have a borderline OCD reloading tendency; can't stand to have a non-full clip and feel like yelling at the screen to reload when I watch playthroughs.

I used to reload after every kill. Realized it was doing more harm than good.

Reload when you need to and can. Never blindly move around the map. You always want some cover around in case you run into trouble.

A good retreat is better than a bad stand.

..... soooo many ways to **** this proverb up xD

All of which rely on 'retreat' and 'stand' though.... but still lots of ways.

Currently unsure if Conduit 2 has a set time where people respawn.

Also, i dont know much about other types of 'respawning' thats in competitive FPS out there.

Dont they all run on timed respawns?

So you could just set faster reload in your load outs. Then your OCD would be fixed. I also reload ever time I shoot. The only gun I used to run out was the MP5. That thing sprays so fast you should just let it run out.

I call it Reload happy.

In general, it depends on the weapon for me. In some games you might carry a light machine gun that holds 300 rounds but take 4 or 5 seconds to reload. There are also weapons that can't be reloaded without losing the ammo in the clip, like the M1 Garand in most games I've played. In our game, the only weapon I don't reload after firing as a matter of course is the hive cannon, and even then only in some situations.
