Anyone good at the HVS45?

I am thinking too that if I get just outside of melee range that the person will be in the hvs45's crosshairs and bang bang bang your dead.

Your point? It doesn't improve anything on the HVS45 when using it. It improves your defense while going against it. Explosives Focus improves blast radius and reduces explosive damage. HVS45 does not have a blast radius.

HVS needs to patch that or something. Ballistics weapons shouldn't do explosive damage.

Folks here don't know that the hvs is poorly described in the game.

I recommend using scar or Spas for close range combat, for the hvs, you just need practice aiming, using phase rifle and quickscoping without specs at head can help you get that type of practice or with specs at close ranges, if you try the pr idea... it will be hard to start with, other than that, just try to get used to aiming with hvs45 at their head right away and dont be afraid to miss because that requires thinking and that takes time and your target will be able to run elsewhere or kill you
