The new Tool album was supposed to be out in 2012, but now it's pushed to 2013. They're making it goooooood!

Whoever posted this is spot on. It's a direct comparison of how this person thinks C2 will be presented. Let me summarize. Bob said that news would be out before the end of the year. Later when reality sets in (and let me tell you kids that reality and what you think will happen are 2 different things) Bob and his adult workers didn't want to make another promise that they could not follow through ... at least not until they had concreteness. So do I think that Bob was telling the truth before? Yes. Did circumstances happen between then and now? Probably.

Let me ask you this. Why would Bob get our hopes up? To mess with us? No. He was telling us the truth. He was excited about the potential project. Something has happened and either we will find out later or he will give an explanation soon. Bob cares about us and knows that we are waiting for information, he must not have any right now.

On another note ... if you are old enough (18+) ... you should start listening to Tool. They're great.

Yes HVSbob announced too soon. He should have been certain of everything before saying he is going to talk about something conduit related. Then not say anything and getting alot of people excited over nothing. It is on people who did buy into it and got excited and trick them selves into thinking it will be announced on a certain day and then not and so on.

100% agreed, sir. However, it seems it wasn't up to Bob. He says he expects to see Conduit news by the end of the year.

Yes I agree its not up to Bob but he was the one who posted. Yes thing expected can change. HVS should have everything lined up for certain and then said something.

So where is the conduit 3 news that everyone thought was going to happen and denied the truth of how HVS is doing and would be unable to get a publisher.

They Will give it to us. Leaving Conduit 2's cliffhanger to think about forever isn't common in HVS. They will, and ALWAYS, keep their word.

The cliffhanger ending of conduit 2 was made when HVS thought conduit 2 would sell really well. So they would be able to make a conduit 3. You can say they will keep there word but if they can't make a conduit 3 based on the sales of conduit 2 then there won't be a conduit 3.

HVS is looking out for themselves, there not going to make a conduit 3 when the strong enough demand is not there.

The problem is that the Conduit games aren't big enough (sales wise) to announce DLC or anything like that as the news. The only possibility is a new game. Bob wouldn't make that post unless a new game was already in development. His post wasn't a declaration of intent. Something is already in development. They're just waiting for some unknown reason to announce it. Bob is not some rogue employee either. He wouldn't make a post here like that without the company's permission (did everyone forget about the guy who leaked the redesigned Wii U GamePad and promptly got in trouble, maybe even fired?).

Also, sequels can outsell prior games. There's also digital distribution. I think there is a strong enough demand for a Conduit 3 if HVS irons out the bugs (they really have to increase quality assurance testing). There's a lack of competition on Wii U right now outside of Call of Duty (which is the only FPS to support the Wii Remote), so next year is a good time to release a game. There's also a complete lack of competition on the 3DS.

Bob would have had the go ahead from the team but plans change. There is not really big enough demand for conduit 3 after conduit 2, other then fans on this board and YouTube. Cod is big competition. There is no competition on the 3DS but they would need a publisher for a full on conduit game for retail. After the conduit and conduit 2 backlash there is not a lot of hope for them to get a publisher. There is a digital game option. Bob announced conduit related news not a conduit 3. It could just a a small download only invasion mode game.
After the mess of conduit 2 it is unlikely conduit 3 would outsell conduit 2.
