Here's the deal: forever is a long time. To say there will *never* be another Conduit game is a very bold statement--this coming from someone who doubts that Conduit 3 will see the light of day.

Arrested Development is coming back on the air this spring after a 6.5 year hiatus.

It took 85 years for James Cameron to reboot the story of the Titanic into the second-highest box office earner of all time.

Tron Legacy.

Red Dawn.

Duke Nukem Forever.

If there's one thing you should know about the entertainment industry, it's that they loathe coming up with a new universe whole cloth. That takes way too much work. Even though the fan base for Conduit games is small, that's more fans than a new IP has. If the owners of the Conduit franchise wait long enough, the target audience won't remember the original, and the creators will get away with doing less work. The only reason HVS hasn't sold it off to someone willing to cash in on it, I would bet, is that it's dear to them and the market value of Conduit isn't enough to outweigh what it means to them.

Remakes for movies happen and titanic did not happen until 85 years because the tech and timing was right. The remake of duke nukem came out because duke nukem was popular and a come back made sense the same can not be said about the conduit series. Tv show come backs happen.

Maybe they don't have the tech for conduit 3 yet, its so awesome they have to wait a few years. That's why. And who knows? Maybe the Conduit series will become popular in 20 years.

In lets say 3 years when the conduit 3 is still not out and over due in terms of past games release what will you say?

What if within the next 3 years it comes out, what will you say?

Were not saying there will be one, were simply saying that it is still a possibility.
