About 9 months, and I've played it for 6 Ogre Battle 64's in that time.

Monster Hunter Tri is one of the best Capcom games of this generation.
Of course, that's not saying much.

3 months away from being two years, but in actual play time it's been about 4 to 6 months.

I've been playing for about a year and a half, more or less. I had a month or so off around Christmas last year when the disc reader on my Wii died and I'm semi taking a little break right now since we got the WiiU.

I played some pubs a few nights ago and had a really good time, so I'm about ready to come back.
