I hate and love this game.

God. It's been getting to the point where I either go against SMAW nubs or its me vs everyone on the board everytime I play. It's starting to piss me off. This game lures me in with the memories of amazing kill streaks and playing on teams with some friends/rivals as well as against some friends/rivals, so naturally, I join online and play a game. The first one is great, everything is so much fun. Then it all goes to hell: lag happens frequently, I miss every shot I make, more lag, and I go against everyone on this board while I'm stuck with the people who don't do anything. This game is like a man offering huge wads of cash and when you take the cash it turns into a steaming turd. Then the man runs away and puts on an extremely elaborate disguise and does it again. And again. And again. This game is so odd. It can make even great players ragequit at the hand of a noob.

I think I might be done with this game. Of course next weekend/tomorrow the man with the wads of cash will come at me again. And then I'll play and then ragequit. Rinse and repeat until the Nintendo server shuts down. Conduit 2 is the sneakiest little b****** ever.

If HVS could do a bit of balancing and fix the lag...

This happens to me too and I depend on my teammates to get kills for dark star charges.

One of the reasons I stopped playing online was because every time the teams are made, it's me as a level 60 with a 24, a 16, and a 1. And the other team is two 60s, a 58, and a 45 or higher. Even having 4 or 5 games in a row, it's always the same team, maybe my second best switches with their weakest. 90% of the time I end up with the most xp. The other 10 is playing pentagon prime and I can't take 5 steps without dying because they're all inside or half of the base.

The SMAW is the most overrated weapon ever.

Monster Hunter Tri is one of the best Capcom games of this generation.
Of course, that's not saying much.

Honestly, this game was fun, but you can't deny that it's terribly unbalanced. The fact that you can have a SMAW in your loadout is testament to that.

TCon was more poorly balanced, and SMAW users are only hard to kill if you're a noob. The only real problem is Reverse Damage. Of course, you live in some strange backwards universe where the SCAR is also OP.

I'm wasn't even comparing it to TCon, but at least in TCon everyone was on an even playing field, and everyone started with the same weapons. You would have to go and find the power weapons to get an edge usually. Although, I won't deny that the USP was really OP in TCon, everything else was fine, glitches aside. In C2 you can spawn with power weapons. That alone makes the weapons unbalanced. Not to mention that there are weapons that are just plain awful without damage perks and some that are overpowered with them. The bloom when walking and jumping is completely unneccesary and was a feeble attempt to nerf weapons that were made stronger for no reason whatsoever (Strike Rifle). Conduit 2 seems more like an experiment rather than a well balanced game IMO.
