"The others won't sit idly and watch behind."

We won't sit idly and watch the Conduit series crash and burn.

Monster Hunter Tri is one of the best Capcom games of this generation.
Of course, that's not saying much.

The "Monkey with a Typewriter" theory states that if you stick a monkey in a room with a typewriter, given enough time, he will hit a key on that typewriter. So, given enough time, there is a chance that he will spell out a word.

So, say, given an infinite amount of time, he would eventually... write a book? Maybe a children's book, yes... but given enough time, which of course is infinite... Couldn't he write the exact word combinations of all 7 Harry Potter books... in a row? Sure, there would be an uncountable number of mistakes before that happen, but it would happen. In fact, the monkey could proceed to type out the entire Encyclopedic Britannica, word for word, without a single mistake. And given enough time, which is infinite, then he can write every combination of every sentence that was ever conceived, and more.

So, if we assume that this Universe is infinite, which many people subscribe to, then you can assume that The Conduit series is also infinite. In fact, there must be a world a very long way away, farther away than we can conceive, where the entire world is just like ours, except that The Conduit franchise is the greatest series in video gaming, and every video game developer in the world combined their efforts to create more and more Conduit games, as nothing else really matters.

I like your thinking, but the problem is that the lifespan of most monkeys is only about 25 years tops, even with a careful diet. So we're gonna need a bunch of monkeys. Better yet, apes. Apes would be better because it's well established that monkeys would rather just fling their own poo than type. But apes, that's the ticket. And about your parallel world, maybe these apes would also learn to talk and maybe even rule over man. Eventually they would have to hunt down any underground-dwelling-doomsday-bomb-worshipping-telepathic-human-mutants that remained, while one advanced human from the past would destroy the world by detonating the doomsday bomb. It's likely that two or three apes would survive by traveling back in time using a spaceship salvaged from an inland sea. The humans of the past...

Hey, wait a minute. This sounds strangely familiar.
